Creating logos, names, and design for votepages

Whenever I start a website (I have tried a few) I have always tried to find a good domain name. In this case “votepages.com” was the best choice. We were also considering “scriboodle.com” but votepages.com won out in the end. I have also been working on the overall look and feel of the site. I am not a professional designer by any means but I am trying to create a site that looks professional. My suggestion for anyone starting a website, and you are not a professional web designer, I would say make it as simple as possible. Three colors maximum. In our case I have only two colors for the design of the entire site: black and white. Below are some of the logos that were created while developing this site.
